5 Early Signs of Breast Cancer Many Women Always Ignore (#3 is Very Dangerous)

What is breast cancer? Breast cancer can be seen as a disease in which cells in the breast start growing out of control. Many people are already victims due to lack of knowledge of early signs that manifest. Let's now look at these early signs:

1. IF YOUR BREAST TURNS BRIGHT RED AND HOT
This is one of the notable signs of inflammatory breast cancer. However, it may be mistaken for an infection, which can delay diagnosis.

2. IF THE TEXTURE OF THE SKIN AROUND THE BREAST CHANGES OR BECOMES PITTED
Dimpling of the skin can show the presence of Breast cancer prior to a visible lump. The tumour inside the breast can cause pulling on the surrounding skin.

3. ITCHINESS OR RASHES AROUND THE NIPPLE AREA
It indicates a rare type of breast cancer known as Paget's disease. The symptoms, an itchy red rash, looks similar to eczema. Always take note of this, as many will see it as normal.

4. BLEEDING OR DISCHARGE FROM THE NIPPLE
Bleeding or discharge from the nipple may be a symptom of a specific type of breast cancer. The probability is greater if your nipple discharge is bloodstained or accompanied by the presence of lump.

5. A PULLED-IN OR INVERTED NIPPLE
Ordinarily, a nipple suppose not to be inverted, but a new change to the nipple including inversion (the nipple turning in) could indicate that a lump is behind the nipple. You will see it become more obvious with raising your arm.

Bitter But True!! 6 Reasons Why You Are Still Unemployed After Graduation

Reasons Why You Are Still Unemployed After Graduation :

1.THE COURSE YOU STUDIED IS NOT RELEVANT IN NIGERIA: The course you study has a  big role to play on how quick you can get a job after graduation.

To be very candid, some courses can not be practicalized here in Nigeria. Courses that are not practicalized in Nigeria will not only reduce your likelihood of having a job, but it will also reduce the likelihood of you employing your self.

Hardly will you find a graduate of Architecture or Land surveying or other courses that are easily practicalised in the country complaining of unemployment because they start making money from when they were students.

2.YOU DON’T HAVE A SKILL: It is very true that the number of the unemployed graduates is alarmingly on the high side and it is just very few of them that are employable.

Most of our graduates are not vested with the practical applications of their subject matter. They only study to pass exam. To stand a chance of being employed quickly, then you have to acquire a skill that is relevant to the course you studied in school.

If, you should consider being self employed, then you should also acquire a skill by going for skills acquisition training.

3.YOUR PARENTS/RELATIVES ARE NOT CONNECTED: It is an incontrovertible fact that in Nigeria of today, employment into the federal, state, local government and multi-national companies’ jobs is strictly on man-no-man levels. You have to be connected in order to be employed into these parastatals.

If you are not connected, then you are done for! Do you know that there are undergraduates who are assured of jobs even when they are still in School?

Their parents, uncles, aunties cousins, etc who are connected usually go a long way in reserving job opportunities for these ones at the expense of their peers who are not connected. If you are still unemployed after graduation, then you are likely to fall into this group.

4.YOU DON’T HAVE A NETWORK: Networking is very good in all aspects of life your life growth as it connects the unconnected ones to people that can help them.

If you are unemployed , then you have to consider improving your networks. Try and establish connections with your former school mates, join secular groups, socialize with people in your church or mosque, relate well with your family friends, register in professional bodies relevant to your field, etc. There you are likely to meet and get connected people who can recommend you.

5.YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR SUBJECT MATTER: If you remain unemployed years after graduation, then it is likely that you are not very good in your subject matter.

The Nigerian labour market is very competitive, so you must to know your subject matter inside out. Consider the fact that Private and state owned universities are now competing on having the highest number of first class graduates. This is also applicable to graduates who schooled outside the country.

They easily make first class overseas. These and more have created much competition in the labour market in Nigeria. You can only contend with a first class graduate or an overseas graduate through your intellectual prowess by knowing your subject matter inside out!

6.YOU ARE NOT A PROBLEM SOLVER: People earn a living by solving other people’s problems. To be employed, you have to be able to solve other people’s problem.

I know many graduates who are very rich by simply solving other people’s problems by going into areas like Home tutoring services, blogging, counselling services, internet services, events management and decorations, etc. You can only solve people’s problems by offering services or by selling a product that meets their needs. This will in turn earn you a good pay.

Look around you and think about the problems of others, if you are able to identify their problems, then you can think of acquiring a skill that would enable you to solve such problems.

[A Must Read] Here Are 5 Good Reasons Why NYSC Should Be Scrapped

There are strong murmurs for the NYSC to be done away with.

The National Youth Service Corps was established in 1973.

General Yakubu Gowon in an attempt to work on the 3R principles (Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Reconciliation) created the NYSC scheme under Decree no. 24. This was three years after the civil war.

REASON WHY THE NYSC SCHEME WAS CREATED

According to the Decree No.51 of June 16, 1993, the NYSC scheme was set up to achieve these objectives:-

a. To inculcate discipline in Nigerian youths by instilling in them a tradition of industry at work, and, of patriotic and loyal service to Nigeria in any situation they may find themselves;
b. To raise the moral tone of the Nigerian youths by giving them the opportunity to learn about higher ideals of national achievement, social and cultural improvement;
c. To develop in the Nigerian youths the attitudes of mind, acquired through shared experience and suitable training, which will make them more amenable to mobilisation in the national interest;
d. To enable Nigerian youths acquire the spirit of self reliance by encouraging them to develop skills for self employment;
e. To contribute to the accelerated growth of the national economy;
f. To develop common ties among the Nigerian youths and promote national unity and integration;
g. To remove prejudices, eliminate ignorance and confirm at first hand the many similarities among Nigerians of all ethnic groups; and
h. To develop a sense of corporate existence and common destiny of the people of Nigeria.

44 years after its establishment, there have been strong murmurs for the NYSC to be scrapped especially from young Nigerians. It is unlikely that the one-year mandatory service would be scrapped anytime soon as the debate still rages on.

For those who want the NYSC to be gone, here are five reasons why they feel it has no place in today’s Nigeria.

SEE REASONS WHY NIGERIANS WANT NYSC SCRAPPED

1. The NYSC has done nothing to accelerate the growth of the Nigerian economy or contributed much to it. The economy is still reeling from a recession and despite decades of its existence, there is no concrete data that NYSC contributes to the economy in whatever shape or form.

2. The ghost of Biafra still haunts Nigeria. The unfortunate rise of Nnamdi Kanu is a strong example that the NYSC has failed in its objective to unite Nigerians. Boko Haram, Niger-Delta militants and Arewa youths clearly show that Nigeria is far from united. Yes, inter-tribal marriages exist but tribal prejudices are still very strong in Nigeria.

3. Young Nigerians don’t need the NYSC to be self-reliant. Successive governments have ignored the youth by neglecting the educational system. Young Nigerians have learnt to be self-reliant a long time ago without the help of the government or NYSC.

4. A governmental scheme can’t teach morals. This is up to the job of families. The family is the smallest but strongest social group in a society. To fix morals in young people, you have to fix Nigerian families. This is another clear cut example of the government putting the cart before the horse. You learn morals when you are a child and not as a young adult.

5. The NYSC scheme has been used to create more teaching jobs. The unfortunate thing about this is that young Nigerians who have been exposed to sub-standard teaching over the years impart their half-baked learnings to children in dire need of a solid education. This is a case of the blind leading the blind.

Spending one year in mandatory service is outdated.

While our counterparts abroad start to do positive things from an early age, the Nigerian youth is bugged down by a horrible educational system and a mandatory one-year service to a country that has done nothing for them.

What do you think about the NYSC Programme – Do you want it Scrapped or Not?

Senate Approves Law school And NYSC For Open University Graduates

The Senate on Thursday approved the participation of graduates of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme and the Law School.

The amendment followed consideration of report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, chaired by Senator Jibrin Barau (APC, Kano) on the amendment of NOUN Act.

Barau said the amendment would address perception that the university is correspondence and seen as part time institution.

“These two concepts correspondence and part-time significantly affect the way the public views the programs run by the university.
“This has been the reason why law graduates of the school are not admitted into the Nigerian Law School, as well as the reason for the non inclusion of the graduates of the university into the NYSC,” he said.

Barau said the bill would allow those that pass out through the university to be included in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps scheme.

“The law graduates from this institution are not enrolled into the Nigerian Law School which is a set back to the graduates of law,” he said.

Barau further said that the amendment would allow for the inclusion of Information Communication Technology (ICT) as a means of giving out instructions and lectures.

“It will also allow for life-long learning. You can learn at every stage of your life,” he said.

Senate President Bukola Saraki said the amendment would go a long in enhancing the institution.

TOO BAD!!! See How These 2 Teachers Rap3d And Infect 10 Students with STD In Lagos

Two teachers in the financial hub of Nigeria have been accused of having carnal knowledge of underaged students and infecting them with diseases.

Doctors in an undisclosed hospital are treating 10 secondary school students of a Lagos State government secondary school in Epe, who were infected with S*xually Transmitted Diseases, STDs, after allegedly being raped by two of their teachers.

The teachers, whose identities could not be ascertained at press time, as gathered, allegedly took turns to have carnal knowledge of the students until the bubble burst, weekend.

Report had it that they threatened to fail the students if they refused their demand. Vanguard was informed that none of the students knew they were infected until one of them complained of an unusual discharge from her private part to her mother. When taken to a hospital, she was discovered to have been infected with STD.

Another student, said to have confided in one of her friends of a similar discharge, discovered that her confidant had same problem. They then opened up on the teachers’ acts.

Another version had it that one of the students had a verbal confrontation with one of the teachers, after refusing to bow to his pressure. During investigation by the school, other victims, as gathered, confirmed that they were also raped by the teachers on different occasions.

Efforts to get the response of the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, on whether the teachers had been arrested, failed as he promised to reach Vanguard later.

Contacted, the Director of Office of Public Defender, Mrs. Olubukonla Salami, confirmed the report.

She said: “The case has been reported to us and we are on top of it. It has also been reported to the state Police Command and investigation is on.”

As at yesterday night, efforts were on to take the students to a shelter, pending when they would be fully certified by doctors to go home.

ASUU Tackles Osun State Government Over LAUTECH Crisis

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH branch, has again refuted claims by the Osun State Government that the staff and management of the institution were responsible for the delay in resolving the financial crisis of the school.

In a statement on Sunday, the union said the government was misrepresenting facts regarding the crisis rocking the institution.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Adelani Baderinwa, had on Sunday said the government was concerned about the plight of the students of the institution, but that certain elements within the institution were hindering progress.

“Right-thinking members of the society should please prevail on LAUTECH management and staff to allow owner governments to do the right thing – proper auditing which invariably will ensure proper running of the institution and make it responsive to the essence of its establishment,” he said.

The commissioner also alleged serious mismanagement of funds by the management of the institution, saying the institution ought to be self-sustaining owing to its viability.

But ASUU said the allegation was a calculated attempt to discredit the university community.

A statement signed by its branch chairman, Biodun Olaniran, and Secretary, Toyin Abegurin, noted that it was demeaning for the commissioner to tag workers who had not received salaries for nine months as “internal enemies” of the university.

“While our Union is committed to accountability, such exercise must be carried out in line with the dictates of University edict, which empowers only the Governing Council to audit the accounts of the University and not the visitors,” ASUU said.

“However, issues of operation of accounts and management of funds are activities of both management and the Governing Council, who were appointed by the owner states.

“Therefore, queries on infractions on multiplicity of accounts, redundancy of accounts, extermination of ventures and insinuated mismanagement of funds should be directed to Council and management.

“If the owner states cannot ask them questions; it is either they are acting in mischief or conniving together to destroy LAUTECH. Thus, the traumatized workers should be spared from insults of being classified as ‘thieves.’

“While the Olanipekun-led Visitation Panel recommended auditing of the University accounts and personnel, it does not specify that the University should be closed down while doing that, rather, it recommended an immediate payment of N 1.78 billion by the owner states.”

The union further argued that it had become “a lame exercise” for the governments to hurriedly compare LAUTECH with UNIOSUN on sustainability.

“Worldwide, we do not know those universities that are self-sufficient on tuition fees. At the moment, UNIOSUN that has about 20 Professors has cried out loudly that it cannot survive without subvention, yet the government keeps telling lies about this,” it further submitted.

“To be specific, what is the wage bill of UNIOSUN compared to monthly bill of N365 million in LAUTECH? Is there a single retiree at UNIOSUN as compared to LAUTECH? The tuition regime at UNIOSUN revolves around N100, 000-140,000:00, while it is flat rate of N65, 000:00 in LAUTECH.

Even at that, the Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) was used to pay salaries for 18 months in LAUTECH, which the agents of governments are always silent to mention. The postgraduate fees being quoted by governments are products of falsehood.”

The union said the Olanipekun’s report stated the indebtedness of the states to the University, as at then, as N7.15billion, recommending that the debts be paid so that the University could resume academic work.

“To our amazement, the recommendation is being jettisoned in favour of the audit exercise,” it said.

“If not for the ASUU-motivated interventions of Tetfund and NEEDS assessment, the University has not received a kobo as capital grants from the two owner states since the administration of the two present visitors.

If the owner states cannot meet the wage bill of the University nor provide capital grants for the development of the University; they should be bold to declare insolvency at running LAUTECH, so that Federal Government (FG) that has invested heavily in the University can take it over in the overall interest of the public.”

On the allegation that the University had not shown any research output, despite funding from the Federal Government, the union said it was a far cry from realities as evidences abound about the modest achievements of staff, students and graduates of the University despite the challenges.

“We do not know the data that were evaluated to arrive at this jaundiced conclusion by the government because LAUTECH community has been recipient of several national and international awards and recognitions,” ASUU noted.

“Even in their governments, some of those that were trained in LAUTECH are active players, whom we call upon to use their positions in the interests of their alma mater.”

The union called on the people of Oyo and Osun States, South west and the entire nation to prevail on the owner states to do the right thing by funding LAUTECH adequately.

“It is appalling that we are yet to see the impact of the Chancellor of the University, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in resolution of the current crisis,” it added.

The Osun State commissioner had earlier stated that only a proper audit of the university could reveal the true state of affairs and determine the extent of intervention from the state’s.

WAEC Announces New Fees For Delay In Collecting Certificate – See New Price

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has urged GCE candidates to endeavour to collect their certificates within four years of writing the examination as any delay beyond that will attract custody fee.
Demianus Ojijeogu, the Head of Public Affairs Department, WAEC, Nigeria disclosed this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abuja.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates, commonly referred to as WAEC GCE, is usually taken in November/December every year.

Mr. Ojijeogu said: “the normal charge for the certificate is N3, 500 and only payable by those whose certificates were issued between zero and four years.

“But from five to nine years is N8, 500; 10 to 14 years N13, 500; 15 to 19 years N18, 500 while 20
years and above will be charged N23, 500.
“These charges are (for) custody fee; for keeping the certificates for so long because it occupies space in our office. It will also serve as a deterrent to others.

“I don’t know the reason why people will sit for exams and their certificates are ready yet they will not come for collection. What was the essence of the certificate in the first place?’’

He also said that requirements for collection of the GCE certificates within Nigeria were an application letter, sworn affidavit from the High Court, online result print- out, one passport-size photograph, photo card and identity card.

Christian & Islamic Religious Knowledge Is Compulsory For All Students – Minister Of Education

The Minister of education, Adamu Adamu has Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) is compulsory for all Christian students, while Islamic Religious Studies (IRS) is also compulsory for Muslim counterparts said this during a press briefing at the end of the federal executive council meeting presided over by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

Adamu said those who want to destabilise the country were behind the claims that the subject had been removed from the school curriculum.

“I read in the papers that they asked the acting president to confirm if the report that CRK had been removed from the curriculum is true,” he said.

“There is no truth in that at all. It was just somebody’s imagination probably somebody who wanted to raise tension in the country after the Biafra issue and then the quit order given by some young people in the north, so the person just followed suit trying to stoke the embers of religion. There is no truth whatsoever in that. I repeat, no truth in it.

“There was a policy in 2012 which was given effect in 2014, that is even before this government came in. One of the things I did as minister was to speak to the national council on education to disarticulate history from the social studies curricula because we believe we want our young people to know our history.

“You cannot know who you are without knowing who your ancestors were in the past. And the national council of education did accept and agreed that the teaching and learning of CRK has been made compulsory for all Christians students and teaching and learning of Islamic studies is compulsory for all Muslim students.

“So you are actually accusing the ministry of the opposite of what it has done? You to be more responsible in handling the issues especially at this time in history.”

Adamu said the council discussed only a single item on the agenda, the roadmap on education sector and developments.

According to him, council members agreed unanimously that the standard of education has fallen and there is a need for a ministerial retreat to urgently address issues militating against the sector.

He disclosed that council members rejected the blueprint presented by the ministry, and argued that the problems in the sector were beyond blueprint.

“Today at council, we discussed many issues but the most important was education. Members agree that the fallen standard in education is so serious that we will need a ministerial retreat to look at all the issues,” he said.

“There are a lot of issues in education and all of them are crying for solution. So, there will be a ministerial retreat in the next two weeks to look at the issues and from there we will take off in what we are doing.

“Initially, we had prepared a blueprint but FEC felt the issues are beyond that because, there are crises in all the areas of education, in out of school children, in technical education and training, in ICT, in all the areas you can think of. So, ministers are going to start talking to themselves and come out with solutions.”

JAMB Releases New Date For 85,000 Candidates With Canceled Results (Read Details)

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fixed Saturday, July 1 to conduct supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 85,000 candidates.

The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, announced the date in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.

According to him, the examination, which is for candidates who registered late and those with related issues, will be spread across some Computer Based Testing (CBT) centres.

“Following an enlarged management meeting of the JAMB, the supplementary 2017 UTME has been fixed to hold on Saturday, July 1.

“No fewer than 85,000 candidates are scheduled to write the examination.

“Affected candidates have been notified through text messages.

“By this notice, they are advised to check their e-mail and profile for the schedule of their examination or visit the board’s website for their status,’’ Benjamin said. .

According to him, candidates will soon be requested to print their e-slip for details such as date, venue and time of the examination.

The board noted that candidates, who are not listed for the supplementary, would not be communicated while those, whose results are withheld, would reflect in their profiles, which have been updated.

The board also advised rescheduled candidates to comport themselves and be of good behaviour to avoid the circumstance that earlier necessitated the cancellation of their previous examination.

“Many of the candidates rescheduled for this examination enjoy this privilege because of the board’s principles of equality and inclusiveness.

“It is better to let 100 offenders go free than to punish one innocent person.

“The board will enhance its monitoring of the examination as it would not compromise its sanctity.”

1.7 million had candidates registered for the 2017 UTME in 633 centres across the country.

The examination was conducted from May 13 to May 20 but the board cancelled the results of more than 50,000 candidates.

It also delisted 48 Computer Based Testing centres over what was described as huge and organised malpractices

Bride Shares Her Touching Life Experience (Photos)

Sometimes, we need to read life stories such as this to help us believe more in ourselves and never give up in life!

Roberta is an IT professional who has worked with top IT firms in Nigeria, she is also cinematographer, entrepreneur and the founder of African Startups TV.

The beautiful lady got married to her prince charming in April 2017. She did not attain all the successes she has today because she had it all rosy from start. Her story will motivate and inspire you. It is quite lengthy but do well to read through.

Read below:

Yesterday we gathered to watch our wedding video, everything was okay until we got to the place where we were signing the marriage register and the videographer used Frank Edward “Let the whole world know” the lyrics of the song got to me especially this part “When it was me against the world, You came and You fought for me, smashing all my enemies and gave me the victory.

You’re my light in the darkness, my ever present help, I’m gonna let the whole world know, You are the Way maker, You are building dreams not failures, You make it all work for me, You are my everything”, I just noticed water gushing out of my eyes cos the song brings memories, the same memory that played back in my head as I walk down the aisle, it stormed my head and I didn’t know if I was smiling or crying, it is in watching the video that I got to know a lot of things that happened as I match in, because I think I wasn’t myself, I had terrific memories, memories that only me and my mum understood.

You see, my mum was all teary through-out my wedding, the little time she came closer to me, I told her please smile, then she went all teary again and water started gushing out of her eyes, I understood totally for exactly 12 years ago just like yesterday I came to Lagos after all hopes of survival failed, I was in SS 2 and life happened so terribly that it seems that it was the end, I remember packing my bags off school heading back to the village, on my way back I would branch the house of my best friends to say a final good bye, there were more than friends Ndy Eshiet, Mmeyene Eshiet and Eshiet Iboro, I remember that as I turned back to leave Ndy Eshiet cried and handed me some money and ask me to keep in touch.

As I journeyed back I saw a GCE form advert a voice said, use the money to get the form, I followed that voice, got down purchased the form, I would later sit for the exams and passed all papers without a C (All As and Bs). Thinking what can I do and asking God questions, then I have an aunty that comes to Lagos often, she came to visit my mom but met her absence so I engaged her instead, can I come with you to Lagos this time, I just want to get out of here for now so my head will rest, she said no, your mom won’t let you, I said don’t bother about that side, I’ll sort it, I would later convince my mom to give me 3 months to go think out of the box, she never agreed but I made her weak enough to allow me part.

Fast forward I am sitting inside a big BRT like bus coming to Lagos, I will peep outside at intervals, then I started thinking about life, put my head on the small bag I had on my leg and started praying or no, started asking God questions and fighting him, God Didn’t you say your children will be the head and not the tail?

Didn’t you say you will make my future bright and beautiful? But God they were all lies as I have been thrown off school, I managed to take GCE, God you lied, just admit it that you lied and we can now all come to conclusion that what you told me in the alter that day wasn’t possible or visible anymore, I ask a lot of nonsense questions, then I started asking God to forgive me all over again, I didn’t know when I cried out inside the bus, I cried so much everyone ran to my seat and ask what happened, I couldn’t speak I just told them I was praying and everyone were like then why are you crying.

I kept quiet and started talking to God, if I have ever heard the voice of God before then, it was never as clear as when he told me “I will establish you in Lagos”, then I wondered how possible because have heard a lot of bad things about Lagos, we have had neighbors and friends who had gone to Lagos and they were all amount to nothing from what I know, so I kept asking God how possible, me I just want to stay 3 months to clear my head.

Fast forward to few months in Lagos, I finally spotted my church in Itire, been looking for it for long, it just seems to be the only place that gives me that connection with God, as I finally spotted the church I was so excited I ran in Sunday evening, the 1st person I saw was a brother standing in front of the church, he was from my village, I didn’t know him as I have not lived in the village for long but with my face he told me I should be from the Edu’s family, I would later agree with him and he would shake his head after asking me what I am doing in Lagos and I said house girl.

He asked how he can speak with my mom, he would later find a phone number to reach my mom and on that day he called my mom the first thing he said was I want you to recall this girl from Lagos immediately if not, you have just agreed to waste her, in fact she is wasted already, I will provide the transport fare, I want to hear that she is gone like tomorrow morning. Even though he had gone faraway to talk to my mom I could still sense what he was saying from afar and finally he came with the phone and my mom was on the phone, before I could say hello, she was deep in tears, she couldn’t even talk, she summed up courage to say, I want you to return back like tomorrow, Brother – said he will give you transport J I gave her time to talk, she started listing the names of people that have gone to Lagos and have all become a ghost of what people thought they will be in life and how she didn’t want my life destroyed, unwanted pregnancy and all sort of things.

I summoned up courage and I said to her, God said He will establish me here, mom went mad what! Which God told you that, it’s not a good God that want to destroy you o, where did you see God that he told you such nonsense, I will swear for you next time you call out any God in this matter, how can I suffer for years to raise you people and now you want to put me to shame, I summoned another courage and said, mummy don’t worry yourself, I know what God has told me and I promise you that I will be different and if me and God ever had a different choice or change of mine I will come back but for now, pray for me…

I cut off the phone, even though I never knew how I am going to come out of my situation, God knew, He went ahead of me and today He has proved Himself beyond every doubt in my life, So when God started answering my prayers, one of the things that were in my mind were God help me not to forget how you’ve helped me, made me and how your grace have found me, the promise i made to my mom and self kept singing in my head all the time and even though i wasn’t in anyway desperate to proof anything to her, i knew that one day, that day will come.

So after my traditional wedding I looked at my mom and she went all teary and said thank you, you were right, God indeed did speak to you… So who am I not to let the whole world know that God is a way maker…

I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone that made my wedding a memorable one, especially those who flew in from Lagos Olabode Efuntoye Babatope Makun Tmak, Ebere Ogbonna Ujunwa Ogbonna, my mummy in the Lord Mrs Opaleye Olusola Folakemi etc. Uyo District Overseer Rev Inyang, Ministers of the gospel, Uyo Music Director, Uyo Chief Organist Samuel Uwak, Uyo Choir you guys were wonderful, my Uyo friends Ini OkonChristian Udo God bless all of you, my childhood friends the everlasting Eshiet Iboro and Christian Edet, our Sunday school children choir soloist Inimfon (Umoh Itoho-Ukeme tag her) my matron Blessing Abraham and everyone that turned up even though some of you do not even know me, I am most grateful.
