Adesua Etomi had revealed in on social media how she met Banky W.

According to her: “I went to an event in 2015 and I suppose that was the beginning of something amazing because once Banky saw me, he decided that he was going to be my biggest fan.

“He slid into my DM and sent the funniest message and that was how we became friends. At the time, I wasn’t interested in anything but a friendship and he was very respectful of that and so we stayed just friends for about a year and a half.

“Our friendship opened my eyes to a lot of things. Opened my eyes to the type of man Olubankole is and WHAT A MAN. WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN.

I Have No Plan To Return To PDP – Olusola Oke

The candidate of the Alliance for Democracy in the November 20, 2016 governorship election in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke, has denied the report that he was making efforts to return to the Peoples Democratic Party.

Oke left the PDP in 2015 and defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress shortly after the Presidential election, won by the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
He also left the APC in 2016 after losing the governorship ticket of the party to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu at the September 3, 2016 primary of the party. He, however, contested the election under the platform of the AD but lost the election to Akeredolu of the APC.

A report said the former National Legal Adviser of the PDP had been meeting secretly with the leadership of the party in an effort to return to the party.

However, Oke, who spoke through his media aide, Mr. Rotimi Ogunleye, on Saturday said he never planned to go back to his former party. He described the report as untrue.

Ogunleye explained that Oke held a meeting with members of the AD recently and never had the issue of leaving the party in mind.

He said, “Recently, he met with his supporters in the state and it was resolved that they remain in AD, so there is nothing like the issue of PDP, it was not even on the table.”

Minister Kayode Fayemi Denies Spending N700m On Mining Website

Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has dismissed allegations that his ministry spent N700m in setting up a mere website.

Instead, he said what the Ministry had acquired with the said amount was an integrated IT infrastructure comprising two data centres, an off-site recovery centre, civil and environmental works on the centres, running of the centres till end of first quarter 2018, training of over 225 officials locally and internationally amongst other cost components of the entire infrastructure and programme.

A statement by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry in Abuja yesterday, Mohammed Abbas, said it was indeed misleading of anyone to reinvent and reduce all of these into an expenditure on a website.

He explained that the unveiling of the IT Integrated Automation and Interactive Solid Minerals Portal (IAISMP) before officials of the ministry and sect0ral stakeholders in Abuja last Thursday was in fulfillment ofone of the short-term pledges listed in the ministry’s roadmap.

These assets, according to Abbas, form critical pillars of their agenda; to reform the mining and minerals sector particularly as a key step towards the vision to lead the sector to shared mining prosperity; where it makes significant contributions to GDP in the country.

He stated that the ministry had carefully followed all laid down processes including obtaining the concurrence of the Federal Executive Council after a detailed presentation in January 2017, since the cost of implementing the project was above ministerial limits.

“It is most important to state that acquired IT infrastructure, in all its ramifications, is an enabler of the serious work at repositioning the sector.

“We have done repeated due diligence to ensure that the implementation of the project does not only meet expected design but also fits into globally recognised systems and further help us to place our jurisdiction on the mining map. A phased approach has been adopted, with incremental deliverables which should be fully completed by end of first quarter of 2018,” the Permanent Secretary stated.

It Would Be A Dream To Play Under Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has admitted it would be a “dream” to play under Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.

The Chelsea forward has reportedly been a target for the European and La Liga champions in the past and Hazard says Zidane is one of his idols.

And the Belgium star also admitted in would be a pleasure to work again with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

In an interview with Belgian TV channel RTL, Hazard said: “Everyone knows the respect I have for Zidane as a player, but also as a manager. He was my idol.

“I do not know what will happen in my career in the future. However, for sure, to play under Zidane would be a dream.

“I am enjoying life at Chelsea. I still have a lot of things to achieve with them. I am focused on playing for Chelsea.

“Of course [I would enjoy working with Mourinho again]. I like facing him also as an opponent. If we were to work together in the future it would be with pleasure.”

Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea boss for a second time in 2015 and Hazard admitted that period at Stamford Bridge was one of the worst in his career.

“There have been a few [bad times in my career],” he said. “We have had a few managers over time, which is not great.

“Mourinho was sacked the year after we won the league. In terms of selection I have known some highs and lows too. It wasn’t always great.

“There have been a few [highs]. The double with Lille was a special moment. To win with Chelsea, I am not saying it is easy, but it’s a big club so we are more used to winning.

“At Lille we’re not used to it – we won the French Cup and the Ligue 1. That will rest with the supporters for a long time.”
